More Pictures From the Weekend...
Weekend with the College Girls
On Thursday, the boys and I traveled to Quincy, Illinois. Two of my college friends, Jamie and Emily live there. Jamie has two children, Connor, 2 1/2, and Lauren, 9 weeks. My roommate from Millikin, Sara, also came with her daughter, Payton, 10 weeks. We had a great time visiting!
We went to a Veteran's Home. They had deer, geese, llamas, and camels. The boys enjoyed feeding corn to the deer. We were all glad that Mark, Jamie's husband came to help the boys actually feed the deer.
Chocolatefest
On Thursday, Will, Andrew, and I went to Chocolatefest downtown Indianapolis. We met our good friends Elise and Alaina there. Alaina is 2 days younger than Andrew. Will loves playing with "Laina". She finds him very amusing! Will had a great time sampling all of the chocolate! He kept asking for more. I have to admit that I enjoyed it too!! Andrew was in the Snugli - he was not enjoying the stroller.

My parents came to visit for the weekend. We had a great time and the boys enjoyed spending time with grandma and grandpa. They did a lot of reading books and playing with trains!

Firetrucks Are Soooo Cool!
Yesterday, we went to the library and they were having a special program. Firefighters and EMT's came to talk, read books, and show their special fire outfits. Afterwards, we got to go outside and look at their trucks and go inside them and explore! As many of you know, Will is painfully shy so he was not so excited that the fireman wanted to pick him up and put him in the truck. We had a few tears and some screaming but he warmed up after that. He had so much fun, he didn't want to leave! Andrew was just happy to be outside!
Waiting for Snow
We have been reading a lot of books lately about Christmas, Santa, and snow. After Josh got home from work one night he started talking about it again. Josh asked if he was going to play in the snow with daddy and Will said yes, of course. After we had finished dinner, Will was standing at the window. When we asked him what he was doing, he replied, "Waiting for snow." We explained that it would be quite some time but he still stood waiting. Finally, we convinced him to go outside and play!

Labor Day
Fun in the Sun
We have enjoyed our neighborhood pool this summer. The boys both love to get wet. Andrew loves to splash and kick his feet and Will loves to get thrown up in the air and caught by Josh. We will miss being able to go to the pool the rest of the summer! Hopefully next summer, Will will take swimming lessons here!
