Our Weekend in Ohio

This weekend we went to visit my sister and brother-in-law in Ohio. It was about time we went to see them - they moved two years ago and hadn't made it until now. Chris and Christy needed help building a deck so we went to help for the weekend. I didn't take a lot of pictures but here are the ones I did take. While we were there, Christy, Will, my mom, and I went to tour the hospital where Christy mainly works at. It was interesting! The deck went well. Josh enjoyed helping as did Will and Andrew. We had a great time with family!

Fun Festival

On Sunday, the preschool that Will will be attending, Bright Beginnings, had a festival. They had a lot of fun things for the boys to do. They had games, animals, food, and a child i.d. station.

The boys loved to sit and pretend to drive these old tractors.

They had firemen and a firetruck there. We love our new helmets!

They also had some ponies. Will was so excited to ride. This was his second ride and he didn't even hesitate to get on and if you know Will, that's unusual!!

Andrew was unsure at first but ended up loving it and smiling the whole time.

Happy 3rd Birthday Will!!!

For Will's birthday, the twins came up to spend time with us after getting home from college. We went to the Children's Museum with our friends Elise and Alaina. We all had a great time! The boys loved hanging out with the twins for the day. Will loved playing with Uncle Dust. He got Uncle Dust to read books and sing him lots of songs before bedtime. Andrew loved Aunt Ang. He kept running to her and giving her hugs and kisses. He was a big flirt!!

Working in the Garden

We decided to plant a garden this year. The boys helped plant some seeds and plants. Let's just say more dirt was on Andrew than anywhere else! Hopefully we will have vegetables in a few weeks! I think that they liked playing in the dirt more than anything!

Our First Train Ride

This past weekend we went up to the Indiana Transportation Museum in Noblesville. There were many trains there. We were able to walk through some old trains and the boys got to climb on them. We then went on a train ride to Tipton, Indiana. We ate there and then rode the train back. The boys really enjoyed it and loved watching out the window for animals, people, and other scenery that we passed.

My New Bed

Grandpa and Grandma made Will his first big boy bed. As you can see, it's a train bed! Will was so excited! He loves sleeping in it - although it took him awhile to fall asleep the first couple of nights - I think he was just loving looking around at his cool room!!

The wheels are actually drawers that Will uses for clothes and toys.

Will got lots of good stuff! Some of his favorites include a tee-ball set, lots of playdough, and some Car stickers for his wall.

Will's Birthday Party

We had a birthday party for Will. A lot of people came to celebrate with us! He had a great time!! I can't believe my little boy is 3. There have been several times when I have almost broke down and cried because he is getting to be such a big boy - or "big man" as he says.
