Our Trip to Michigan

The boys and I went to Michigan to meet my parents, sister and brother in-law, and their two girls. The first few days of the trip was great! We played in the sand, went in the pool, and did some fishing. On Tuesday, Andrew ended up getting the flu. It was pretty rough to say the least! He started feeling better on Wednesday but Will started getting sick. I decided that we should leave while we still could!! So, we made the trek back home as I was just praying to make it home without any kind of mess in the car. We did it! I'm glad we went even with getting sick - we had a great couple of days!

Grandpa made fishing poles for all the kids. Adrienne had a pole without a hook on it - Andrew ended up using it later since he was more interested in swinging and making it splash than trying to catch fish. "Bama" (Andrew's word for Grandma) and Uncle Blair were in charge of putting on the worms and Grandpa took the fish off the hook.

Will's First Day of School

On Monday, Will started preschool. He was so excited! Andrew and I went in with him and Will immediately started playing. After 10 minutes, I told Will that we were going to leave and he hardly looked up from playing! That first day was pretty hard for me but harder for Andrew. Andrew kept saying, "Will, Will, Will." He asked for him again on Wednesday - hopefully that will get better! I am so happy that he loves school already!

A New Milestone...

Yesterday, we took the boys to the park and when we were getting ready to ride our bikes back, he decided he had to go to the bathroom. With no bathrooms around, Josh took him to a tree. Needless to say, he watered the tree! I was so proud!!!

Hahn Family Reunion

We had a reunion in Kentucky at Josh's parents house this year. We had a great time! The boys loved playing with their cousin, Luke.

Aunt Lucy made this capes for the boys - they love them! I hope to get a video soon!

Our last day we went on a lobster boat. They showed us how they pulled up the cages, measured them, and decided if the were "keepers."

Boston

We went to Boston for the day on Saturday. A trolley drove us by most of the sights in Boston but we couldn't stop at all of them since we only had a day. When the boys get a little bigger, we'd like to go back and explore the city more and walk the Freedom Trail. We were glad that we went to Boston even though we only had the day.

Our Trip to Maine

We went to Maine at the end of July with some friends. We had a great time! The boys enjoyed the beach. They loved playing in the sand and in the tide pools. The water was freezing so they just stuck their feet in.
