Happy 4th of July!

For the 4th of July, we went to a parade. Unfortunately it was raining but we still had a good time! We took the kids to the fireworks that night. It was the first time the boys saw them. Will said they were "lousy." After a couple of times, I asked if he knew what it meant and he did say no. Good thing too after staying up late!!

We went to Brookfield Zoo one day. They had a special exhibit of different dinosaurs. It was pretty neat!

Will was so tired and Adrienne was sitting in front of him and she has the perfect hair to twirl so he twirled her hair as I pushed the stroller!

Bike Derby and Birdhouses

At my parents house, there were a ton of mosquitoes so we couldn't go out at night. Nicole brought her girls' scooters and my parents bought the boys ones. Dad got Christy's scooter out of the attic so we had another one. We rode around in a circle racing. It was so FUN!





Dad had a craft for us to do. He cut out birdhouses so we had to nail them together and paint them. The kids were pretty excited when they started to hammer but it quickly changed. We ended up nailing them together. They painted and stamped them later that week.
