Pool Time!

In Florida, we had the chance to spend time with Daddy's family.  Our cousins Sage and Titus were also able to come.  It was great playing with them since they live in Seattle and Dallas.  We don't get to see them that often!  We had a great time hanging out with our aunt, uncles, Yeh Yeh, and Grandma!

Legoland Florida

We flew to Orlando in January for Yeh Yeh's 60th birthday.  We decided to go to Legoland for the day since that was something we have been wanting to do since it opened.  It was great!  The amazing thing is that no one was there.  We didn't have to wait more than 5 minutes for any ride so we were able to ride everything multiple times.  We had such a great day - definitely a great family memory!

They had sculptures all over - it was really neat seeing them!

Watch out, Will!

The Ford Driving School

Will loved the roller coasters and rode every one multiple times.  Andrew was pretty scared to even try them but after lunch decided to go on them.  He then loved them and wanted to go on every one multiple times.

Will's favorite roller coaster - Lego Technic

They had a pirate show - there were Lego people and pirate skiers.  They did jumps and tricks - pretty neat!

Will even got to use the water gun to help defeat the pirates - he loved it!!

Andrew and the pirates and palace guards!

Abe Martin Lodge

We went with four other families to Brown County State Park and stayed at the Abe Martin Lodge.  We had so much fun in the waterpark with our friends.

Roller Skating

I've wanted to go rollerskating with the boys for a long time now and we finally did it.  Yikes!!!  I really thought they would catch on a little quicker.  They were great sports and I'd like to go back again soon but it was tougher than I thought it would be.

We rented this walker thing to help - it did!

Pinewood Derby Car

For Cub Scouts, Will is having a Pinewood Derby Car race in January.  He just got his box before Christmas and wanted to take it to Grandpa's to have him help.  After researching different designs on the internet, Will decided on a design.  He and Grandpa headed to the basement to get started!  After sawing, and chipping it away, they got the design they wanted.  Now, onto sanding and painting!

Adrienne and Andrew watching a movie - love how they love each other - it makes my heart smile!

Christmas Day

The boys slept in to 6:45 Christmas morning.  We told them 7 so they didn't do so bad!  They were soooo excited this year!  I love Will's face in the first picture because I could almost feel his excitement!  They tore through all of their gifts so fast that Josh and I just looked around afterwards and thought, "Is that it??"  After they opened everything, they went back through everything and started playing with things.

Later that day, we headed up to Grandpa's and Grandma's house.  Everyone ended up being in town so it was a lot of fun.  We hadn't see Aunt Christy and Uncle Chris since July and we even got to celebrate her birthday with her.  The kids had a blast opening up all the gifts and both got some neat things.

They both got their own radios - they were excited about that.  They are both becoming quite the music men!

Christmas Eve 2012

Christmas Eve 2012 involved some good family time.  We were hoping to go roller skating but it ended up not being open.  Instead, we had a quiet afternoon at home.  We went to church that night and had a great candlelight service.  The boys were very excited about writing letters to Santa.  They wanted to leave them out for him to get when he came to drop presents off.  I think they had some last minute additions!

They prepared these plates by themselves.  Will insisted that we leave carrots out for the reindeer (don't look too closely at my gross carrots!!)

I loved the letters so I had to take pictures!

love the beginning of Andrew's ...."I love you."

Christmas with Yeh Yeh and Grandma

We took a quick trip down to Kentucky to celebrate an early Christmas.  We had the chance to spend some time with Great Grandma, Yeh Yeh, and Grandma Betty.  The favorite gift for both boys was a Spiderman web shooter.  It shoots out silly string or water.  Needless to say, I think we will have to invest in some silly string!  They loved it!!

Will's Christmas Program

The upper elementary kids had a Christmas program the week after Andrew had his.  They did a great job!  It ended up being on Andrew's birthday so he was a little bummed but we celebrated a lot with him beforehand and afterwards!

Look at that handsome 2nd grader!!
